What you'll build

Own and scale the core chat interface — performant, responsive, pixel-precise React across multiple simultaneous AI model streams
Architect component libraries and design systems that scale cleanly as we add models, features, and users
Build and consume APIs connecting our frontend to multiple live AI model backends — reliability and latency matter here
Drive frontend standards across the codebase — code reviews, performance audits, and the bar for what ships

Who you are

5+ years of professional engineering experience with deep React expertise — hooks, state management, TypeScript, the full ecosystem
Strong instincts for web performance, browser rendering, and UX correctness — you notice when something is 50ms too slow
Comfortable contributing to backend services when needed, not just consuming APIs
You've owned features end-to-end in a fast-moving product, not just ticket execution
